Coal Drops Yard

I visited Coal Drops Yard several times over a period of months during 2023. It was barely alive when I first visited, feeling like an abandoned film set. I got talking to some of the security guys and local baristas who seemed happy to see me, or anyone for that matter. It gradually became a popular place to shop, eat and hang out and by late September it was much busier with shoppers and photographers and I realised I'd had my best days there - for now. ©Keith Valler.
